A recent project involved a radical approach to traditional claims handling, working closely in-house with a major insurer we secured a 35% reduction in spend.  The benefit, in human terms, was immeasurable and was recognised with the award for Initiative of the Year at the 2008 British Insurance Awards.

We have a comprehensive fraud service that includes access to a number of anti fraud databases.  Our dedicated team is able to offer a service providing data only information through to a complete file review and taking a case all the way to trial, always with a view to containing costs. 

Plexus Law was recently involved in a landmark contempt of court case, Kirk v Walton.  This saw the claimant, in a personal injury action, fined £2,500 and ordered to pay 50% of the defendant’s insurer’s costs of the contempt action as a result of claiming damages to which she knew she was not entitled in the civil claim.  Plexus always look to prosecute where there is clear evidence of fraud.
