Typically the claims handled include: include cryptosporidium sickness outbreaks, hurricanes, group outbreaks on vessels such as the Norovirus and coach crashes.
Our experience in dealing with class actions over the years, has enabled us to control claimant solicitors’ costs. Plexus were the first firm to secure a successful costs capping application against a major claimant firm in the context of class action litigation. Subsequently we have obtained other costs caps against claimant firms, in both multi track and fast track claims.
We have specialists trained in group and class action management and tactics. We are well acquainted and equipped with the particular skills needed to manage such litigation and are aware of how to manage the media and reputational aspects of such claims.
