Financial Services
We are not authorised by the Financial Services Authority, but we are Members of
the Law Society of England and Wales which is our designated professional body for
the purposes of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000. The SRA is the independent
regulatory body of the Law Society and the Legal Ombudsman is the designated independent
complaints handling body. We are included on the register maintained by the Financial
Services Authority (which can be accessed via
http://www.fsa.gov.uk/Pages/register/) so that we may carry
on insurance mediation activity, which is broadly the advising on and administration
of insurance contracts. This part of our business, including arrangements for complaints
or redress if something goes wrong, is regulated by the SRA. If you are unhappy
with any relevant insurance mediation, you should raise your concerns with either
the SRA or the Legal Ombudsman after you have brought he matter to our attention.
Insurance
For the purposes of the SRA Indemnity Insurance Rules, our qualifying insurers are
Chartis and QBE, who can be contacted via Prime Professions Limited, 155 Fenchurch

The insurance covers our practice carried out from offices in England and Wales
and will extend to acts or omissions wherever in the world they occur.
Quality of Service
Our goal is to provide clients with consistently excellent advice of the utmost
quality, but any client not satisfied with our service or a bill of costs should
notify the matter immediately to the person carrying out their work, and to the
partner responsible for the client work. A copy of our Complaints Policy is available
to any client on request. If we and a client cannot reach a solution together, that
client can pursue a complaint with the Legal Ombudsman
